Spanish Vocabulary: A Beginner’s Guide

If you are a beginner in Spanish, there are a few things you should know about Spanish vocabulary. First, Spanish vocabulary is very similar to English vocabulary. Many Spanish words are derived from Latin, and they share similar meanings. For example, the Spanish word for “house” is “casa,” which is similar to the English word “house.”

Second, Spanish has a few grammatical features that can make learning vocabulary more challenging. For example, Spanish nouns have gender, and they must agree with the articles and adjectives that modify them. For example, the word for “house” is feminine, so the article “la” is used in front of it.
